True WRX tuners remove the top mount to the front. That should tell you something. You can be different all you want but it doesn't mean it's smart.





What's not smart is making vauge assumptions. I have been reaserching the WRX as a future vehical and it turns out the TMIC is actually a very decent unit. Upgraded top mounts are a waste and you only need the FMIC when they start reaching power levels of 350+ AWHP. SCC also tested a upgraded TMIC unit and found that the stocker performed very closly and definitly did not justify the 1000+ Dollars for the upgraded unit.

When choosing a IC I would be more concerned about core size and CFM ability then location, is your current one too small CFM wise? Have you tested the efficiency of that one?
