these test are far from accurate. I got a 145 on the Emode IQ test, but when I took one in person for personal reasons, I got a 130, which is still high, but obviously 145 is near genius, while 130 is only superior intelligence. There is a difference. I will slap my head with a trout now. . .and get back to work!

Somebody explain this to me, how can people here get an average of around 130 and Albert Einstein's IQ was 160-170 there was a documantary on him the other day and they said that the average person's IQ was around 110

average human IQ is usally between 90-110.
IQ scale maxes out at 150. Cannot get higher than that, nor is it recorded that high. It's some many standard deviations above the max that it becomes inaccurate. But Einstein is an einstein for sure. There are myriad tests used to measure IQ, but the widely used one is the Wexler.

Well the fact that there are so many differnet test and so many scales for judgement that there is no unifying scale. My score of 131 on this test might translate to a different number on a different test. I'm still the same savant I've always been. Also consider the posibilty that some tests might be biased towards different backgrounds: I expect to do better on a test that is about things that I know or have seen in the past. There is no real true way to test someone's IQ. To make things worse, we are given numbers, which have a specific value, although there isn't a true scale for comparison. Don't take this test and write your score on a resume. Don't get bummed out if you score low, don't brag if you score high. Example: I've always heard the SAT is way harder than the SAT. My senior year, I took them both, two weeks apart-SAT on November 14, next Saturday I bought my first Contour, then Nov 28 I took the ACT-which is rumored to be easier. SAT score November 14: 1280 ACT score November 28: 27 According to different scales and whatnots, a score of 1280 is approximately a score of 29 on the other test. Maybe buying a car in between cost me 2 points. Anyway, the point is, take a bunch of tests over time and average your scores. Then forget them because there isn't any real scale of values to compare them. Take this test for fun.

It says my IQ is 131, and that I am a ??Visionary Philosopher?. And it wants to sell me a detailed report for $15. Screw that. I notice that nobody here has reported a score that is not very high above average. Perhaps those who are getting near-average or lower scores aren't feeling inclined to report them, or perhaps this test gives everyone a far-above-average score, in hopes of selling them the $15 report. Hmmm?I wonder what would happen if I took this test, and gave obviously-wrong answers to every question? I think I'll try it. OK, my alter ego, Marvin Moron, who made a specific effort to answer every question wrong, has an IQ of 75, and is an ??Inventive Inquisitor?. So much for my initial cynical theory. And no, Marvin isn't going to buy his $15 report either. He's so stupid that he wouldn't know how.

Keep in mind that the format of the SATs changed over the years. Throughout HS 90-94, no one in my HS of 1,00 students ever got 1500, let a lone a perfect 1600. The first year the format changed, 3 people at the HS got 1600s and about 20+ got 1500+. SAT scores =
