Dang...there's no way on earth I could afford a new TL but I sure like dreaming about it.

Awesome choice on the TL. I tried to talk the wife into trading the 02 Type-S for the 04. Lets just say she wasn't having it.
I always wanted the TL in standard. I knew it would be decently quick. And it is. Low 14s at high 90s. If it takes to mods like an 02 does, you'll have a very quick machine.
As for the G35, I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Creature comforts are nice, RWD is a huge plus, and it is definitely fast with the 6-speed.
But man was the drivetrain junky. The shifter was overly mechanical and the engine sounded horrendous. Felt like there was a washing machine under the hood the way the engine shuddered. The salesman said that they aren't trying to pitch the G35 as a luxury car, but more as a sports car.
Thats all fine and good but when I'm not in a boyracer mood, I expect it to act like an Infiniti. Which is supposedly the up-market brand. And it fails in that regard. Otherwise, its a sweet ride.
Sorry for the hijack. Good luck with the Acura.
