I don't like talking to closed minded people, so I'll just quit while I'm only frustrated. This particular intake, on another note, is not too shabby looking. The carbon fiber is a nice idea for both looks and function, but I do not see spending $110 on the pipes, $75 on a primary intake pipe, and so on. I'll just make a heatshield first and wait to see what kind of numbers these things are showing before I even think about it.

Well it's the same way talking to you... You just don't seem to get it. There is basically no way unless your an idiot to put too MUCH piping in CAI setup on a contour... but believe what you want. Heat shields help a little,, very little. A CAI gets 11whp on a 130hp engine... ooo well.. Of course the intake has to be designed good, I'm not saying just getting the filter outta the engine bay will do anything for you... but your point about intake pipe length on OUR CARS is moot,, there is no way unless you're trying to build a bad setup to put too much piping in there.... What matters is pipe diameter and how smooth the turns/curves are. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!
