You obviously don't know the advantages of a true CAI.
DDavis got an 11whp gain on his ZETEC with a true, tuned CAI. That's 11hp on a 130hp engine.... hmmm yeah, not worth it at all. 
Plus as I said the short ram and a heat sheild you are really just re-creating a restrictive air box with a cone filter in it.
