The obvious thing here is why would you do it......If it was acceptable and would have no effects on the woofer (it does effect the woofers peformance/spec) manufactures would pump out dvc's all day long.....

you can get a single 4 ohm mono load out of two DvC 4 ohm speakers. You could either series the woofers, then parrallel them together (8ohm/2 = 4) or you could parallel each and then seies them (yeilds 4 ohm too)
