If you have a 2000 SVT you will need a different plate to do the install. See pic's of my install on page 24 of Last Group Buy for example.

Also here are more details of my install (2000 SVT only)
Steeda Install

Great shifter...you won't be sorry!

Another "yay" vote for the Steeda shifter. I wanted something closer to stock height so I opted for it over the B&M. The shifts feel great.

However, I'd like to point out that you COULD have a 2000 with a 98-99 style shifter in it. So anyone with a 2000, you should probably check page 5 of the first group buy thread. About a quarter of the way down is a drawing of what the 98-99 style shifter looks like. Further down is Scott's post with the 2000 shifter. Based on which style you have, you will need a different plate.

I'd be in on this for sure. Does the 100 +/- 10 include the shifter, plate and shipping?

If we can get the Plates made for the same price as before that includes everything.

I bought one of the shifters on the first group buy and these plates are really well done. And it was the smoothest group buy I ever dealt with.

I am really happy with it.

I wasn't in on the group buy but got mine from someone that was. The install was really straight forward and easy. the hardest part was notching the base so that the centering spring would work, since the shifter is raise so is the linkage. i really enjoy driving the car with this shifter, shifts are quick and smooth
