We did some further tuning on Jason's car today. On 91 crapoline that we have in AZ he mustered 298.6hp and 245tq. Due to budget constraints he used 24# injectors that maxed out and the stock maf. The leanest he saw was at 7k was 12.5:1, so not too bad. With 30lber's I'm sure we can break 300 wheels. A bigger maf would be a good idea too. I'm able to stretch out the maf range a bit but now I think we are pushing it.

I will post a nice and clean Dyno Sheet tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. The numbers were exactly what i wanted with my setup. Of course I am now having some electrical issues and need to fix them. But overall, I am pretty happy. It rides like a raped ape.

Very Nice! Whats the setup? I know it's a 3.0, SC..but what about pistons, cr, heads etc? TIA

I got a good few hours on the car before the alternator started acting up. I pummeled it on a few occasions. It is at Street Flight again, awaiting the new alternator.

Here is my setup at this moment:

Oh yeah, congrats.


Just playing, that sounds awesome though I have to cast doubt on the larger injectors and MAF making a whole lot more power if the air fuel was never leaner than 12.5:1. I would guess with the 3L manifold your torque was on a downslope anyway by 6500 rpm.

Still, if you were able to make 300 wHP with 24# injectors and stock MAF, then I once again pose the question of:
WHY THE F'in HELL people are looking to slap 42#'rs in their cars????


What cams are you using, SVT or 3L stock?

The graphs will really tell me alot more so I will wait for the torque curve to say more.

He won't make a lot more power but some. I'm afraid to add timing at the top without more fuel. With a couple gallons of 100 I'd hope to be able to add 10% timing with satisfactory results. Jason says he is going to email me the chart and I'll attempt to place it on my website.
