OP cheps1svt New CEG\'er C Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 19	I think its my tranny cable (5spd) SVT that broke, recently i noticed that 2nd gear was barely engaging but it ran fine, if i tried to race into 2nd gear it wouldnt go in until i double clutched, today i was taking it to the tranny shop to get it checked out but 1 mile from my house it happened, (the shifter is not engaging into any gear, the car was still on, nothing was happening i could move the gear selector freely without using the clutch) The clutch is about 1.5 years old with about 12,000 miles on it, so i pushed the piece of F......O.......R.......D...... car back home. Please any help would be welcome, thanks.

BEVAN//3L CEG\'er B Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 435 Apex, N.C	Well I just replaced mine last week,i'ts actuaily not the cable that goes bad but its the ends on the cable that hook to the trans.Part's are only $10-20 from ford but are hard to get to from on top of the car,luckly you dont have to replace the whole cable assy. /Mike 99 SVT 3L/Hybrid
