Probably was midnight red, it's maroonish in color. Pics in my sig if you want to verify that it's the color you're talking about.

Also, around here in Charleston, I have seen several Tours with this Charcoal color on them. Makes it look real sleek. I am thinking about repainting the Tour with that color.
