Autolite Double plats work good.

where can i get the right tools and what are they for a proper spark plug change? i had autozone order me some Autolite double plats and i placed an order for new wiring from CTA.

To change the spark plugs you just need a 5/8" spark plug socket (Don't hold me to that it may be 3/8" ) ), socket and long extension.

And maybe a gauge to make sure you have the right gap.

Everytime I have checked the Autolite plugs they have been correctly pre-gapped.

I'll just toss my 2cents in. Platinums are good for regular power, but if you want to run nitrous or turbo you need copper plugs.

The only direct replacment copper plugs are Motorcraft AZFS22C. They are also one step colder. You can order them thourgh your ford dealer for around $12 a set.

I'm running them but I really could use two steps colder at my current power levels, but the only other source is TurboTom's custom plugs at $50 a set and he can make them up to 5 steps colder.
