Donnie brasco was pretty good although it it was no where near as good as the book because 90% of the movie was false. Also the Goodfellas book(Wiseguy) was also way better than the movie..
Books are deffinitly way more descriptive with the scenes but always take longer. Over the summer I broke my leg and read alot of good gangster books that were pretty good.

the mafia movies are always the best. especially if deniro , pacino , and pesci are in it. Bronx Tail was real good. just the other day i was watching New Jack Cty, a wesly snipes movie, and Sgar Hil is good too. i dont know if Mence to society is considered a gangster movie just a hood movie i guess. but Scarface, Casino, Bronx Tale, and usual suspects are just a few good ones that i really like. there are even a few that are based on true stories liek good fellas, ghotti , and donny brasco that are real good also. and this typing box isnt workign right when i back space why is that,
