ok, going out on a limb here, and not trying to hijack the thread, but what is "reverse lockout"?

It's on all our MTX transmissiions. It's when you pull up on the shaft to put the car in reverse. If you do not pull up on the shaft in a stock car, you cannot engage reverse.
