I worked the first hour of the "black friday" crowd (my last hour of my shift). It was nuts but all that means is more money for the store and a bonus at the end of the year.

Picked up a laptop.
Went to Best Buy 1st, got there at 6:10 and the line was around 3 sides of the store. They had one for $499 after rebates, but of course the tickets they were handing out for it were gone before 5am. I was going to buy some other things, but was too ticked to stick around there.
Called up CompUSA, whom had one for $599. Same story. Finally drove to circuit city whom had one for $649 after rebates. Had a lot of them in stock, and that's where I got it.
HP Pavillion, Celeron 2.4, 256 RAM, 30gig HD, DVD/CD-RW combo, 15" XGA. Nothing great, but it only supplements my desktop, so it's more than enough.

i picked up a pair of Helly Hansen "Vertical" waterproof and insulated ski pants for $60 (retail was $100), a pair of FootJoy WetGrip golf gloves for $6 ($22 each retail price), and a Lexmark Printer, Fax, Scanner, Copier from Target for $48 (retail $89).
not bad!

I bought NOTHING!!! haha  Well, it was because I had no money. Today's work's paycheck in a few weeks will pay for Christmas items. I'm probably going to do everything online as well, since when I'm at school I have no car.

anything has to be better than the Cannon i've been using. it runs through a tank of ink in about 20 pages.

yea canon is actually bad too, its just that lexmark ink is really expensive, what you should get if you ever have about $100 is to go to office depot and buy an epson stylus c84. It has really good ink, highest resolution out of all the printes, smudge resistant,fade resistant, andwater resistant ink. its a really good deal, specially right now, if you buy a digital camera we give you a free c84.

Just make sure you stock up on print heads because epsons love to clog...
As a retail worker I always got annoyed when people would [censored] about ink prices, so I would show them a laser, but then of course their 80 kids that use up all the ink won't be able to print color

I like the old model tektronix color laser jet printers. I bought mine at eBay for $299. The toner cartridges last years and the ink does not smear. You can soak the page under water and the ink will not run.
