CT State Police have always availed themselves of "seized" autos for their fleet of unmarkeds.....back in the day, the sight of a Grand National with a set of wig-wags and blues in the grill flying down 91 was a sight to behold!! I grew up literally next to Rt.91 in enfield, so they used to stop at teh Dairy Mart by my folk's house to get coffee, snacks, etc.-they always had something you would never suspect as a chase car (i.e. Mazda MX-6 turbo's, GN's, camaros, I think I even saw a Dodge Spirit R/T with blue flashers parked at D-mart once).
