Yeah, Milwaukee is a back-woods hick town  . Before making generalizations like this, check up on the demographics. Milwaukee's black population is over 37%, which translates into nearly 223,000 people (2000 census, BTW).

I think you're wrong about this. How much time have you spent in rural areas to know this?
I'll bet that the economic disparity between blacks and whites isn't as great in rural areas. After all, there are precious few all-black ghettos in rural areas, unlike the big cities where white vs. black racial issues are supposedly far less prevalant.
