L.A. Wants to End 'Master' and 'Slave' Equipment This is a gross waste of Gov't time. No wonder Cali is broke! Master and Slave still mean Master and Slave applied to hard drives or people. -Andy

I can't wait to see what happens to the history books when these terms are completely eradicated.
Will masters and slaves be referred to as unfair employers and underpaid, underprivileged employees?
Great, now the entire struggle that sought to erase slavery in the first place is going to be undermined because the terms are offensive... now it sounds like the slaves in the south were just trying to get out of a minimum- wage job at Wal*Mart instead of trying to get away from the abuse they really had.

No, we have to leave "master and slave" in the history books so everyone has something to bicth and whine about...
If we eliminate it from the history books, they wouldn't have any claim to be able to try to leech money (read: parasite) off of people who's grandfather's, grandfather's, grandfather's, grandfather's grandfather had slaves.
