I live in Marine City, MI. It's at 26 mile and the St. Clair River. The only mod I made to the outside of my car was hitting a guard rail at 65 mph. Needless to say, I don't have an SVT anymore...
If I were you, I would at least consider intalling a component set of some type in the front of your car. Leave the polks in the back.
I just drive an Omni or an Escort or '66 Biscayne depending on the weather.
