98 SE with power door locks w/out keyless remote entry. Passenger side door lock stopped working. Will not work from drivers/passenger switch. Drivers and rear locks work from drivers switch. I searched posts, however, didn't see any that pertained to just one door lock not working.

Wait, when you lock your doors from either door (using the power switch ) the passenger's door doesn't lock? Can you lock it with the key on the outside?
Does it make any noise? Have you tried locking all the doors manually (push the lock lever, not the lock button) on all the doors except the passenger's door? And then trying a switch? I ask because I'm curious as to whether the motor is running or not....
Windows work okay?

As a test also you can take a power window or lock button from any door (they are the same switch, different graphic on top) and putting it in the passenger's door lock position.
I wonder if it may be a switch problem....
The switches just pop out with a small flathead and you unplug the connection by pushing in the tabs.

Nate...Door locks manually from both key and manual door lock (no motor sound). Electric switch locks/unlocks all other doors. Power window works. Based on your trouble shooting questions, it could be the motor. Any way to verify? Also, any "how to's" on replacing the motor? Thanks

Well, it could very well be the motor. Taking the door panel off isn't bad. There are screws in the pull handle/armrest (you'll have to remove the plastic insert in the pull handle with a flathead.) Behind a tiny round hole in the handle lever area, and around the perimeter of the door panel itself. Once you pull that up and off, you'll see the clear plastic inner liner. With a exacto knife you can cut the black gooey rubber that holds the plastic to the door and remove the plastic liner (careful, you can reuse the liner by pressing the goo back together. Once that's off you'll see the innards of the door itself. You can lock and unlock the door and see how the mechanism works. I'm not really sure how where the power motor for the door is, but while that's off it's a good time to inspect the motor and/or pull it out. It could be something as easy as a plug pulled loose. Who knows!
Good luck, N.
