I'll take any opinions-Now incometax is coming around and I was wondering should I play w/the paxon(may have spelt it wrong)supercharger which gives 56hp or should I buy my older mustang and start my project car.


99 Zetec Atx Se 17's w/yoko H4 rubber Green and Black interior CTA + header + big pipes = very loud 89 Mustang LX (stock for now)

ummm they don't make one for the zetec contour

NOPE they don't either

INFACT there is NO supercharger specificly for the Zetec contour.... any of them made for the zetec you would have to mod the hell out of them and hope you can get it to work.

and yeah we had a guy that claimed to have a JR S/C on his tour but we never saw any proof of it and this was the same guy that a year before his car was turboed too, so I wouldn't believe it without seeing it in person.

i believe he had turbo and s/c thhus his not so grteat times,,, just not great fuel managmenent....

Best bet would be to get a head package from zxtuner.com.

even then, with a supercharger, it takes power to make power, and lets face it,...most Zetecs have power in short supply. they are fast( especially when mated to an MTX ), but nowhere near thier potential

You could modify the Focus Jackson Racing SC but at barely 150 whp I wouldn't go for it for how much they want and how much you'd have to modify it. The actual supercharger is too small on that unit to get much more than 9-10psi and it has no TQ.

You might have more luck with the new Vortech, but again, don't know how much you'd have to mod it. For my money it'd be easier to do a custom turbo than supercharger. I did it and I have a returnless fuel system.

Returnless has nothing to do with it....the Focus has a returnless fuel system.
