It has instead of the usual belt driven timing, chain driven, the tranny is supposed to be pretty freaking strong for 04...gotta do some digging to find that. But it can be a beast and there is an aftermarket for it and GM performance which is out there too!

Of course they wouldn't support what it's supposed to be a family car,,, chevy is trying to market the cavy as a young car, so they will do things to target them.
