iPods are so outrageously expensive (I know thats alot of songs , but I dont have that many songs I want to listen to) , at least they can be used as a 10GB transfer device which is the one redeeming feature.
I myself use a Sony NetMD Minidisc player. Only $100 and holds 6 CDs as I have it now. I love it.
