Just don't want to re-encode 3500 mp3 files, especially since I've got an in-car MP3 player, and there are rights issues to deal with. And I get 8+ hours off a AA battery in my flash-mem MP3 player. A HD-mem machine with a fancy internal battery oughta push twice the time, IMO.
