I too like the Lexor brand blades and their refills. I use the factory blade and Lexor refills. They last much longer than Bosch. I have the Lexor blades on other cars and they are really an excellent quality product.

i usually just spray rain x on my windshield and drive around like that. I still have my wipers but my wipers actually bother me more than the rain. And yes i can see when i drive, i was driving around like that a few weeks ago when all of houston flooded and nothing happened.

I finally broke down and replaced the wipers on the Jetta last year (1982) they were starting to get a bit stiff and cracked. I just stole the first set of 18" wipers I could find off one of the cars parked on my street. A dodge Colt I think. They work great and cost me nothing

OK, so I figured I'd just use this thread, even though it died almost 2 years ago...
I used to use the TripleEdge Wipers because of their lifetime warrenty. When the first set failed after only two months , I got new ones for free - after waiting 5 weeks for them to deliver them. Now they're starting to go again and I really don't think another pair is going to last any longer. What wipers don't suck?

Anco usually lasts me about 5 or 6 months.

I've been using Bosche Microedge Excels since reading a recommendation in 2001 on CEG, and loved them for years - on my Contour, my old PGT, and my parents' and sister's cars. Recently I switched to RainX based on what I thought was decent ratings ... I am highly disappointed. They do a good job cleaning, but smear some haze a bit (RainX chemical?) that leaves marks, and are extremely noisy. I had forgotten what it was like to travel on the school bus in rainstorms, but these wipers bring back those memories by squeaking just like the buses' wipers did. Next time, I will be switching back to the Bosche.
