DSL is not offered on our street (we have copper phone cables rather than fiber-optic on this side of town ) so we got cable instead, if you were thinking about it ...

Good old TI99, back in 81'. I was a crusty old 6 years old, and it was the coolest thing ever. Ah, memories. My favorite early times were all Apple IICs, lots of fun hacking Oregon Trail and Castles. And then came the mighty Choplifter;-)

I don't want to risk trying to get cable internet.
I don't know if the previous tenant spliced the cable for the tv or if it is a proper install from the cable company and the landlady willingly pays for it. Either way I don't get the bill for it and I don't want to bring the issue up with the landlady and find out I have to start paying. I like my free cable tv.

We had one too. We also had a VIC20. I thought it was the greatest thing when we got the external floppy drive for it.

The very first computer I personaly owned was a P75mhz. I think I "upgraded" it to 32mb of RAM.
