Once again Tom, I have learned not to doubt you. I found a 2nd and 3rd speed enforcement device and both tell me that my speedo is only off by 2-3MPH. This is easily explainable by the tire size change and poor quality of American gauge calibration. With the Zetec FD, the car feels like it wants to drive at 90 all day long, so I assumed that I was not traveling that fast. I guess I'd better slow down, huh?

With that said, why in the hell does the 98.5 and greater ECU have the adjustment for the FD? That makes no sence at all... It seems to me that Ford would have had to pay real dollars for a tech-geek to add that feature. We all know that Ford (and all other majors) like to decontent, not to add unnessecary stuff... Help a CEG'r to undertand.
