Actually, the sports have surprisingly good treadware compared to other tires of the like. I got 15,000 without rotating, and wouldn't doubt you could get the same on a contour if you did.
Obviously they are not meant for rain, but I thought they did fairly well there as well. Just don't try them in freezing weather or the snow
