Has anyone ever dropped the MTX-75 out of their car without dropping the subframe. It seems like it could be done, but I wanted to hear it from another CEG'er before I started on mine.
Thanks.

I just did mine a few weeks ago, and i dont see it happining. With that said pulling the subframe isnt that tearably hard, The biggest pain is getting the powers steering lines of the rack. And i found to do that lower the rear of the frame 6 inches or so, and you can reach up there and get them off.(there not on there very tight)

This has been discussed being done both ways, concerning the MTX-75. Some say it is easier one way and others will tell you it is easier the other way.
I will suggest that unless you have a subframe alignment tool, pull it from the top. It is doable and actually the way the manual suggest removing the engine anyway.

if you take it out the top the motor has to come with it. Seems like kind of a waste of time if you ask me, But Keep in mind, Im no mechanic.

Sorry I just had to laugh at this sentence. It kind of goes without saying doesn't it?
