In a word...it's beautiful out there/here. My wife and I live in Ventura (35 miles south), but she grew up there. The weather is beautiful and lots of fun stuff to do. It is very pricey though if you are looking to buy something. As far as car stuff goes, Laguna Seca is about 250 miles north and Fontana is about 150 south. Lots of upscale cars...Santa Barbara and Montecito have tons of old money. Call me if you want more info (805) 644-0055
