ok i need a new maf sensor and im thinking about upgrading to the pro m. but its 243 for the 75mm. i noticed alot of the mustang gts have 75mm sensors too???? maybe they would work along with the bigger ones on the sho or thunderbird. just curious. are there any others you can think of??? what about throttle bodys???? just curious. oh and by the way i got a engine management system im looking at thats super cheap. it is fuel and ignition and comes with ignition packs but it looks ghetto as hell but i read a few reviews and it seems pretty for the price. no datalogging though thats what i want. its a sds system maybe you guys have heard of it somewhere.

Well your gonna need the info for you engine. You might have to get a tuner or something to be able set up the MAF to your setting. I read that you swaped out an old svt for a new engine, was it another SVT 2.5? I had a 75mm maf from pro m and they never could get it to work right. I sent my stock one in and decided not to keep the product and to just get my money back. They are kinda slow over there, atleast with me they were. I think you should just get the contour one, I believe the stang ones and SHO ones are different. But I am not sure, anyone else?

Unless you are doing some really big mods(ie turbo, nitrous, supercharger), you don't need the bigger MAF or TB. You will only end up losing horsepower. Your best bet is to optimize the stock TB and keep the stock MAF. There is a ton of info to be found on this by using the search feature.

im building towards a turbo kit im going to blow up my new motor and build my old block with weisco pistons. i guess i can order them when i figure it all out. right now im working on the exhaust manifolds and figureing out the pluming issues. that motor bay is really tight. but yeah i think i need to upgrade to a bigger sensor. i have a friend who figures out all kind of crap formulas for different things and he tells me 2.5 inches before my runners will give my intake cfm charge .15 to .4 mach so around 2.5 will give me that. but i need a better sensor. 200 bux is a bit high. anyone have a extra one. my car is being used as a test bed for this company that makes turbo kits and stuff so well see how this works out. by the way... im thinking my secondaries are gonna be a pain in the ass with a stand alnoe.......grrrr. why didnt i buy another rice burner. was it the body kit. the bad ass headlights. or maybe the fact i beat the crap out of a si when i test drove the svt. i dunno. and yeah i swapped for another svt engine.
