As mentioned by everyone else here on the boards, your best bet would be to purchase an amplifier. You say you want to keep it as inexpensive as possible, but you may want to add a sub later. Well, a five channel amp is not going to be cheap. So, you can go with a 4 channel and use channels 1 & 2 for your front stage and wire channels 3 & 4 to your rear fill. This will relieve the stress off your head unit. When you decide to get a sub, you could wire up channels 3 & 4 brigded to your sub while wiring your rear fill to your head unit. You can pick up a decent 4 channel (4 x 75 watts) amplifier with built in crossovers for $400.00 or less. If you decide you want to spend a little more, you could always stick with the 4 channel to power all four of your 6 x 8 and then when you decide to add the sub, purchase a dedicated 2 Ch. amplifier for the sub. The choice is yours. Shop around the internet and you'll find a decent amp to suit your requirments.

Just remember, buy as much power as you can afford. If you find a (4 x 100w) in your price range, pick it up. Your speakers will love you for that. You don't want to under power your speakers. Hence, over drive your new amplifier into distortion. Then you'll end up blowing your speakers all together and have a whole new set of problems and expenses. Remember, your speakers love clean power.

Other individuals on the boards will have ideas for you as well. If you need anymore advice, just post. Someone will help you out.

Take care,
