It's John's circumstances:
1. John, Jr. is on the way
2. his SVT is almost paid off
3. his SVT has low miles
4. his SVT is not a daily driver
He'll be done paying the SVT off soon - it doesn't make sense to start car payments all over again with kid on the way!
I had no clue about his circumstances. From his post I assumed that he had a chance to get another car. My bad.

LOL, thanks for the concern ya'll, but I'm no where near the poor house even with my son on the way. I just had a new car bug that's all. You know how it is. However, Pete, you make some good points the main ones being almost paid off, and non-daily driver. I'm currently up to 37k because I just love driving it so much! I figure I'll go ahead and pay it off in Feb. or so with my next bonus. Then I'll have a paid off car, and my motorcycle to scoot around in. Not to mention the Mazda. I'm in no rush to get a new car at all. It will be nice not having a car note. Besides, I'll be able to justify more toys with my son on the way. Like, "Galena (wife) don't you think our son needs a big screen HDTV."
So, it stands. I'm not gonna become a troll. I think that's what ya'll call non-Contour owner's that hang around the boards right?
