There are only a handful of people who haven't had problems with the jackshaft or seals. The jackshaft was a bad design and I am not quite sure why the seals have gone out. Add in the SF kit came out a bit later, comes with IC and real customer service, any smart consumer would pass on the Vortech. I would really like to know just how many kits were made/sold, I'd bet under 50, maybe 75 total. btw I think there are about 10 users on the site with one Previous Owner of 00 SVT Contour #1077/2150 95 Contour SE '01 3L

With your jackshaft fix and stock pully it seems to be decently reliable and gives decent power gains. I'm sure used street flight kits will hold in the $3500-$4000 range where as I paid about $1600 for everything including misc odds and ends for the install. Brand new?
