I just replaced my battery for similar reasons. It's likely your battery is slowly wearing out, like mine.

If I left the engine off with the radio on for even 1/2 hour, it would be difficult to start, if it would start. With the new battery, I can work on my car with the radio going for hours & not notice any difference in the cranking. Battery problem confirmed. They just kinda seem to slowly die sometimes.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

For me it was the trunk light - the plunger to turn it off came loose so after two days it would kill the battery.

It's called a "parasitic drain".

Unplug the extra junk, then measure current draw at the battery when everything is supposed to be off. Anything over 50 mA is probably too much.

This happened to me a few years back. Your cell charger is drawing power off of your battery even when it isn't charging your phone and if left hooked up long enough without your car being started it could definitely kill off your battery, especially if your battery is already getting old.

This is the best way I have this exact meter, I belive this is the best diagnostic/trouble shooting tool for any electrical problem! I paid about $280 for mine on ebay. You can buy one like this at like autozone, that would be suffincet for someone like yourself plus from autozone you can get one for like $40-$50. Also project89sho is exactly right and that holds true for most vehiles you should never have a reading of more than 50 mA's.
