just to let everyone know, i just ordered a vb for my 95 contour, and it was around $450, i asked them about the price difference, quoting CEG and the $275, and he said that the 94-95 contour was a different vb, and that 96-01 were the ones that were 275. He also told me that the vb was updated with the new valves (sonnax). Ordered from http://www.atcdg.com/
Hopefully he wasn't wrong, and i didn't get screwed.

The only difference between the 95 and the 96 valve bodies was the Solenoid.
And the only differences between the Solenoids was electronic, not physical.
Everything else is EXACTLY the same.
The 95 Solenoid can be used ONLY on the 95 because it was a LOW RESISTANCE solenoid.
If you use a 95 solenoid on a 96 Computer, you will short out the computer.
The 96 Solenoid is a high resistance solenoid and can be used on ANY year.
Go back and tell the guy you are only paying $275,
and you aren't bending over...

Look on the main contour page and go to mods. Do search on jenkins and it will come up too.
