Essentially, you're not getting a "digital" copy of the original music, which is what this whole thing is all about. Going from WMA -> CD-audio is basically creating a CDA track from the audio output of the WMA, thus an analog copy (like recording a concert on a cassette recorder {but not as crude}). Now, you can create a digital copy of THAT analog track ( cda -> mp3|ogg|etc ), but it's not a TRUE digital copy.

So, you're bypassing the encryption to get an analog copy, which can be differentiated from the original 'digital' track.
