I have a friend with a 2000 Zetec contour. He has a fuel pump quickly going out. Ford is telling him he can only use their pump for $300.00 sounds like BS to me. Is there any aftermarket options?

or BAT, it's cheaper IIRC.

I'm using an autozone pump for about 40k mi now - it works.

Bat only sells the fuel pump for the V6 did the research.

I thought it was the same pump???
Autozone was around $114.00 with the screen.
