Yeah, I'm sure the ~3000 lb. Contour would look a lot better after head-on impact @over 80 m.p.h. with a SEMI doing 60 m.p.h...
BTW, I'm almost sure that was a C3. Shame. Especially if it was a 427 Tri-Power.
And I agree with the seat belt law statement. Thin the herd.

being that the 80-82 vettes only showed 85mph on their speedo's, the kid probably thought he was going full speed, got excited and made a booboo.

I just feel sorry for the kids. All this Nazi wording about making our society better/safer/more intelligent - stinks, and does it big time. If you are a real DRIVER and got some driving experience - u NEVER EVER say shite like this. Every driver always has a chance to be killed or injured in an accident, from pro-racers to ordinary ppl. Kidz are to blame or geezers are to blame? Wanna fix a driving age from .... what - from 25 to 35 or something?

Everybody has to be cautious while driving, but to look at them horrible pix and be like "Idiots are to blamed for their own deaths" is utterly f**ked up.

Be careful, dude - you never know what might happen to YOU tomorrow.
