Check it out...

http://www.extrudehone.com/oem.html

They are talking about mustangs and vettes, but what do they have pictured?!? A Contour!!! WooHoo!!!

Does anyone know how much this procedure costs? I'm guessing it's pretty steep. Do they do the intake manifod and head at the same time?

I've gotta do some research...

I live about 20 minutes from their headquarters in Irwin, PA. One day I was on my way to work and I saw my first SVT Contour pulling into a restaurant in Irwin, so I stopped to look at it. The guy was getting out of it when I noticed the "Extrude Hone" vinyl sticker on the rear bumper cover. I asked him if they had done something for him and he said, "no, I work for them... this is my company car." Then he rattled off a short list of mods... all performance of course. That sure beats your usual company car of a Taurus anyday.

If you plan on getting done for your zetec, you'll have to buy a focuse intake manifold and modify it to fit. I don't think they'll do the EH to plastic.

A SVT Contour for a company car!?! OMFG, that is awesome. At my office we have focus wagons. I wonder I could expense a turbo kit? Hmmmm....

LOL! The plastic one would probably explode from the process. I should have said that I'm going to be buying the FRPP head and intake manifold. In the catalog it says that they are already ported. I wonder how much the EH would help out.

I was looking around an found various quotes from $400 to $800. But I don't know if people were just doing their intakes, or both the intake and head.

At this point I'm incredibly broke. Just looking forward to April-ish.

Thanks,
Ben

Well, porting is different than the polishing that EH does, so it'll probably make it just that much better...

I beleive its a couple hundred dollars to get the upper manifold done. Don't beleive me though, thats just what I remember reading from somewhere. I would assume that was the guys company car, because Extrude Hone did all the SVT manfiolds, I guess it goes hand in hand.
