Looks like Speed World Challenge GT series is about to get shaken up as well... by good ol' GM

That car on the right is a new Cadillac CTS-V Race model. There's a great picture and article of it in this months Car & Driver. 500hp

The amount of modding to get that car race worthy is shameful. I'll have to find the pics (unless the GM hissy fit is continuing, see SCCA boards) but the body has been severely chopped. It sucks they're letting this in SpeedGT--a supposed "production" class, it's more of a ALMS GT car.

And Caddy pulled the plug on a LMP program for this? With development there is no doubt they would have been the favorites to win Le Mans this year. Instead, that chassis is parked and fans get this "thing."

Most photos on fansites were pulled down recently for some reason.

I even like the way it looks- talk about darth vader killer looks- now forget the wussy speed GT racing and go to ALMS- or is caddy still trying to mop up the piss from the first pants wetting?
