Thanks, but that is a bit on the unintelligible side for me, okay WAY on the unintelligible. The drive is a Seagate. It looks like I will give xxclone a shot, it looks to be pretty good. Thanks everyone. If no one hears back from me in a couple of days, assume the worse..

Yes. Do this. Just get yourself a CD bootable Linux distro and you won't even have to install the beast. BTW, any links to a floppy distro that would do this?

Could get a Knoppix CD, those are bootable, sort of a try linux before you commit.
