I don't know if this is the right place to put this in or not, but I was interested in buying a svt kit off this guy, and he assured me that it was an svt kit and everything and when it came to my door tonight it was the Razzi kit. I know all of you are familiar with this kit. He specifically told me that he spent $1200 for the kit from the dealer. I was just wondering would I have a chance to win if I had to take this to court. Also, do you have any ideas for me to try to get my money back. Thanks in advance.

I think it would just cost you more money to go to court. How much did you pay the guy for this kit?

You could try small claims court but I dont think you have a chance. Did you ask for a pic? Sorry but I dont think I would have bought it if he didnt have a pic. Even if it was an SVT kit it could have been trashed. I would try to sell it on Ebay. Hopefully you would get some of your money back.

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!

I paid $800 for it shipped. He said that shipping would only cost about $150 from here to there, so I was getting the kit for about $650. About the whole kit being trashed thing, I specifically asked him what kind of condition it was in, and if I had've know that it has in less that perfect condition, I woul dhave never bought it. Maybe he was confused in what he had or something. But he should have not kept telling me it was the SVT kit if it wasn't, and it clearly had the Razzi stickers on the bumpers.

He just wrote me an email that says this: "Please check the contour.org listing, I never stated that it was the Ford OEM pieces, It is just as I described it. It makes the car look more like an SVT contour, but I did not state that It was origonal SVT parts. The SVT front and rear body pieces are not simple add-on's, it is an entire replacement body piece for both the front and rear. I'm sorry you are dis-satisfied, but I disagree that I ever stated it was origonal or OEM or Ford brand parts."

Unfortunately, he's exactly right.
Unless you can prove without a doubt, which would be your duty as a Plaintiff in Court, that he specifically said it was an SVT kit that he purchased from the Dealer you cannot win.
Without a contract stating so, you won't have any chance of winning. I'd just sell the Razzi kit as is and take my losses -- which will be significant. Brand new Razzi kits go on Ebay for as low as $300 as high as $500.

He repeatedly told me that it was the SVT body kit. The Razzi kit has no mention of SVT anywhere on their site. Now he's trying to tell me that he really did spend $1200 for it at a local shop. He also said that other people that he had taked to also called it the SVT kit, even a person at the shop....right . I do have his address and everything, but I don't want to solve anything like that.
