I contacted SP Motorsports to order a y-pipe from them instead. I also told them of my problem. This is their responce. "We're having the same problem with the SHO Shop. They haven't returned our calls, or shipped us products for about 2 months. They also haven't drop-shippped products directly to our customers as they said they would, althogh they certainly billed us for them. There is a very strong rumor that the SHO Shop is phasing out production of Contour/Cougar and SHO parts as they transform into EVOsport (www.evosport.com), primarily dealing with German cars. I received an email from Tom, the SHO Shop manager the other day saying the rumor isn't true, but one of our SHO customers who lives near there drove down to the shop and said they've replaced the "SHO Shop" sign on the front of the building with the "EVOsport" sign, and I noticed on their web site that EVOsport has the same exact address as the SHO Shop (15608 Graham Street).

Wow, straight up lying to customers and clients. That's good business. I hope they go bankrupt.

On the Y-pipes, I talked w/ one of the guys at SHOShop 2 days ago, and he indicated that they had a batch of Y-pipes going out late this week/ early next week.

They told me the same thing back in May when I ordered mine. Mid July rolled around and they still didn't have my y-pipe. ShoShop is the worst bunch of people I have ever dealt with for car parts...even worse than any stealership I have been to.
Personally I think with all the bad dealings so many on here have had ShoShop should be removed from the part section but that's just my $.02

I didn't say whether he was telling me the truth or not, just what he told me. I'm supposed to get a flex pipe section out of this shipment, so I'm sure I'll comment on whether or not I get it before next week is over.

Well, I said I would comment, so . . .
SHO Shop came through for me this time, I had a flex pipe go bad in my Y-pipe after 2 years, I called them and asked if they could help me out with a new one; hoping for free shipping, or a deal or something on a new flex section. Well, even though they couldn't find me in thier order system any more, they decided to send me a new flex section free of charge, and I didn't even have to ask. It showed up today . . .
I realize many folks have had bad luck with them, and this doesn't excuse that, but maybe it means they are trying to get thier act back together . . .
btw, the box they sent says "EvoSport" on it, so they are changing names . . . or at least running two businesses together.

Hmm..I bet they are changing names or running another business along side SHOShop. There is only so much market for aftermarket parts for cars they don't make anymore

Vadim owns both SHO Shop and EVOsport. IIRC EVOsport has been around for awhile, and looks like its picking up steam. SHOforum has been discussing this for a week or two now. Nothing has been confirmed. As stated local members can't even get ahold of them. I wouldn't be surprised if SHO shop closes its doors......we have to admit our cars (including SHOs) are huge aftermarket players, and that is a fact...
