Thanks for the replies guys, I replaced the fluid on the weekend. The interesting thing was that it didn't take the specified 2.7 quarts ('99 SVT), only probably 2.5 quarts with the FM. All I can think of is that it didn't drain completely, though I waited until it was dripping slowly (I jacked the car up from the driver's side). Has anybody experienced this?
The shift feel is much better, though sometimes I still have problems putting it in 1st gear when the car's at a standstill. Depressing the clutch a second time seems to fix the issue.
