Actually, Honkey, I was considering an alpine HU, but I wanted an MP3 deck, and the alpine is a fortune. Since that left me with only the Sony, Kenwood and JVC (the clarion wasn't out yet) I decided to go with the JVC. It's got a two year warranty, looks really nice, has all the features I wanted (and more) and I got a good deal on it.
As for your remarks about my nutsack, it takes one to know one.
SVTimulate -- I'm not sure about prices, as I am only familiar with Canadian prices, but if I use an exchange rate of about 1.5 to 1, it seems to be a good deal.
