This is funny. Sometimes when I accelerate from the low gears (1st, 2nd) it takes time to develop power, longer than usual, when everything is going well. It's like the engine is trying to swallow something that is lot larger than the thtroat and when it finally does it just flies. It kind of stutters, stumbles and then BANG! Not very nice on traffic lights. And then for days it's gone, I would say that weather has no influence on tit, dry wet all the same. I have BOSCH platinum plugs and my take is that the wires are the Ford original (it says Ford on them and they are 8mm) I have 130000 km on the car. Air filter is OK, plugs are less that 5000km in, fires OK, runs on high rpms OK, idles OK, no misfire, maybe just wee bit on high rpms. Fuel filter OK, and the secondaries were cleaned using Berryman 12. Main cat was gutted due to the fact it fell appart on the inside and clogged the exaust. Current finance prevent replacement, cause all I can find here is ungodly expensive. My guess is that, providing the pluggs and wires are OK, pre-cats are going too. What's your take on this?
