So the SHO Shop sells these for $150, and I was wondering if there is a huge difference with them welded in place. Also, would it be an option to just have a shop make some for less than I would have to pay SHO Shop for theirs?

1998 CSVT I will get around to getting an intake at some point......maybe even put those PS and ALT pulleys on.

subframce connectors make a HUGE difference on any car. I could tell a very noticeable difference with them on my SHO.

Rumor is though, that SS has closed its doors.....

Ok, so the question is: Is it possible to have them custom done?, or better to just order them?

SP sells the Sho Shop ones, and Sho Shop are still inbusiness, but they are starting to move way from Sho's and SVT's. Also, they are a little (okay alot) slow to ship anything out......

sho shop sub frame connector

They don't look the same to me. Maybe it's the angle of the photo.

The pictures do not look anything the same between SP Motorsports and the SHO shop's. My question is still: Is it cost effective to have them custom made by a local shop? Or am I better off just ordering them?

The really simple thing for you to do would be to call a race fabricator shop, or something like that and ask them. Take in the pictures if you want, and they should be able to give you an answer.
