I know the topic has been beaten to death, but I still don't have a clear answer for my problem. I have a 95 SE with the stock rear sway bar. The right-hand side is torn to hell and beyond repair (I've tried several times to weld it). I don't have the money to buy a new aftermarket bar, so what is my best option for a fix? I'm thinking the easiest way is to get a new subframe from a junkyard and new bracket and put it all back together. From what I've seen, the Haines mod only works with aftermarket brackets. Is this correct? Again, what is the best solution for those of us that intend to keep the rear sway bar and mounting hardware stock?

Thanks for any help!

Matt

Seems many people use the Aussie bar or another aftermarket replacement for the rear sway bar. Unfortunately, I don't have the excess cash to take that project on (I need new brakes first and foremost). So, I'm looking at my options to repair my configuration, using the original sway bar. The subframe connector for the right sway bar mount point is torn up...
