My 98 EO svt has been having problems recently in the past month with making power past 5500 rpms or so ( the thing is just so damn slow past that point ). I'm figuring it has to be a dying fuel pump. Well I went out to check the pump and what not but low and behold the top metal seal above the pump was all rusted. After working at that for a couple of hours I still can't get the thing to budge. I was thinking of just adding in an in-line fuel pump to compensate for the dying one. Would this be an ok thing to do?
If so, what pump would you buy and where would you place it?
