you answered your own question-- the point is that a turbo is really hard on your engine- that's why those mustangs w/ a single turbo aren't out there driving around "for very long"

2 turbos are easier on an engine than 1, and so presumably 4 would be better, and give you a $hitload of power



Read again, I said they dont last very long being driven ON THE STREET. They are race cars, not street cars. Quote the whole post next time

As for realibility, they last just fine on the track, which is where they were meant to be used. Lets see this Camaro last 50 miles in traffic without overheating, loading up on fuel or generally being a pain to drive. Its just not doable. I applaud the work that they put in to the car, and if it makes stupid amounts of power, then thats cool, too.

But I dont see how they can call this a "street car" with a straight face. Street legal drags my ass ..... If this guy can drive it to work a few days a week and be comfortable, then I will shut up.

I have personally seen a Mustang drive to a dyno shop, put out all a 2000 hp chassis dyno can handle and then drive home. Did he live a long way from the shop, heck no. Super-thin lightweight brakes and a track setup suspension are not the best thing for the street.

The way I see it, you could use 20 turbos to make 30 psi, or just one. Its still 30 psi. So how are 4 turbos easier on an engine than one?
